Hundreds of riders pedaled through the scenic Finger Lakes on Saturday during the American Diabetes Association’s 2025 Tour de Cure, according to WHAM. The event, held at Stokoe Farms in Wheatland, raised funds for diabetes research, education, and advocacy.
Participants chose from multiple route lengths, including a nearly 65-mile trek, all while rallying behind loved ones affected by the disease. Cyclist Allison Coon, who has lived with diabetes since 2006, said the overwhelming support was deeply meaningful.
The day wrapped with music, food, and celebration, uniting a community committed to finding a cure and spreading awareness.
