A morning crash at a Manchester intersection sent two people to the hospital and led to a traffic citation for one driver.
Ontario County deputies say Francisco Camacho Diaz, 79, of Geneva, failed to yield at the intersection of County Road 19 and Freshour Road around 4:55 a.m. on Tuesday. His 2017 Ford struck an eastbound 2024 Hyundai driven by Portia Mcguire, 59, of Canandaigua.
Mcguire and a passenger sustained minor injuries and were transported to Strong Memorial Hospital by Finger Lakes Ambulance. Deputies issued Camacho Diaz a ticket for failure to yield. The Manchester and Shortsville Fire Departments also assisted at the scene.
