Authorities charged a Waterloo resident with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle following a late-night arrest.
Dejon O. Butler, 26, was taken into custody by Ontario County deputies on May 24. He allegedly failed to return a 2010 Chevrolet Traverse to the owner as agreed.
Deputies issued Butler an appearance ticket and transferred custody to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office for separate charges. He is scheduled to appear in Phelps Town Court to answer the unauthorized use charge.
