Tompkins Cortland Community College celebrated the Class of 2025 with its 56th commencement ceremony on May 21, according to Tompkins Weekly. The college honored 461 graduates on its Dryden campus, marking a milestone for students and faculty alike.
Retiring professors Jake Jacob and Kimberly Sharpe opened the event, while student trustee Shannon Boyd reflected on the personal and academic growth that brought the class together. President Amy Kremenek urged graduates to focus on the future and embrace the challenges ahead.
Distinguished alumni awards were given to Julie Matijas, Mame Ndiaye, and Patricia Schaap for their professional achievements and community impact.
