Seneca Falls Library launches ‘Color Our World’ summer reading

The Seneca Falls Library is bringing color, laughter, and learning to the community this summer with the launch of its annual Summer Reading Program. Themed “Color Our World,” this year’s initiative begins July 1 and promises a packed calendar of free events designed to spark imagination for readers of all ages.

Program registration opens Sunday, June 23. A full list of 161 events will be available the same day at SenecaFallsLibrary.org, offering families and individuals a wide range of creative and educational options through July and August.

The kickoff event on Tuesday, July 1 at 2:00 p.m. features Freddy Frog’s Foam Party, turning the library’s outdoor space into a “giant, bubbly playground.” Children can jump and play in foam created by a powerful cannon, with no registration required. Kids 15 and under can also cool off with free ice cream from the Sprinkle Starship food truck.

Freddy Frog’s Foam Party is sponsored by the Bernard Carl and Shirley Rosen Fund. The Sprinkle Starship treats are made possible by the Seneca County Children’s Committee and Wendy’s Wallet.

The library invites the community to join in “a season of exciting stories, enriching activities, and community connection.”
