A single-vehicle rollover at the intersection of West State Street and Floral Avenue sent one driver to the hospital early Sunday morning, according to the Ithaca Police Department.
Officers responded to the scene around 4:03 a.m. on June 1 and found the vehicle overturned with the driver still inside. Police extricated the individual and emergency crews transported the operator to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Authorities say the crash is being investigated as an incident involving an intoxicated driver. The department urged residents to “drink responsibly and utilize ride share and designated drivers.”
