A man was arrested Friday evening after a domestic disturbance prompted a heavy police response in Seneca Falls.
Willie D. Williams, 35, was taken into custody on May 30 at 6:53 p.m. after police responded to a report of a loud disturbance on Shamrock Avenue.
The Seneca Falls Police Department said officers located Williams at the scene and determined he had an active felony warrant from the New York State Police for criminal possession of stolen property in the third degree. Due to his history of being combative toward law enforcement, additional officers responded to assist.
After Williams was safely taken into custody, he allegedly began kicking the interior of the patrol vehicle, threatened officers, and urinated in the back seat on multiple occasions. He was charged with criminal tampering in the third degree, a class B misdemeanor.
Williams was transferred to the custody of the New York State Police on the outstanding warrant. He was also issued an appearance ticket for Town of Seneca Falls Court for the tampering charge.
