A driver slammed into the back of a semi-truck on a quiet stretch of State Route 318 Sunday night, prompting a police investigation that led to a felony DWI arrest.

Zachary L. Miller, 30, of Camillus, was taken into custody by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department at 10:03 p.m. on May 25 after officers determined he was operating under the influence of alcohol.

According to authorities, Miller was driving a motor vehicle when he rear-ended the truck. No injuries were reported.

Due to a prior conviction for driving while intoxicated within the last ten years, Miller now faces a felony DWI charge. After processing, he was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.

The Seneca Falls Fire Department responded to assist with traffic control and cleanup at the scene.
