Deputies responded to a report of domestic violence in the Town of Savannah Saturday night and arrested a man accused of pushing a woman during the altercation.
Ralph A. Tavano III, 40, of East Dezeng Street in Clyde, was taken into custody by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office around 9 p.m. on May 25.
According to deputies, Tavano faces a charge of second-degree harassment stemming from the alleged incident involving a female victim.
He was transported to the Wayne County Jail and held pending central arraignment, which was scheduled for 7 a.m. on May 26. Tavano is expected to appear in Savannah Town Court at a later date.
