Wendy Crane renews focus on Seneca Falls future

Wendy “Siviglia” Crane is reaffirming her commitment to Seneca Falls as she runs for Town Board, promising to help build a more collaborative and efficient town government rooted in community values.

Crane, a lifelong resident, wife, and mother of three, emphasized her dedication in a public statement that underlines her ongoing involvement in local leadership despite a 2023 election loss for a seat on the Town Board.

“That campaign gave me something more valuable than a title—it gave me perspective, drive, and an even greater commitment to the people of Seneca Falls,” Crane said.

Since that election, she has remained active on the Seneca Falls Republican Committee, the Seneca County Women’s Republican Committee, and has contributed to the town’s Comprehensive Plan initiative. Through these roles, Crane said she has been listening, learning, and leading to build the knowledge and partnerships needed to move Seneca Falls forward.

Crane voiced a clear vision for the town’s government: one that emphasizes transparency, efficiency, and tangible outcomes. “Our residents deserve leadership that works smarter, not harder. That means eliminating waste, streamlining decision-making, and making every tax dollar count,” she said. “Government should be a tool for progress—not a roadblock.”

Crane also rooted her motivation in both history and hope. “I’m not just doing this for my children. I’m doing this for every family who believes in what Seneca Falls can be,” she said.

With a focus on teamwork, integrity, and bold ideas, Crane is positioning herself as a steadfast advocate for a future where Seneca Falls grows stronger by working together.
