Farmington woman arrested for aggravated DWI after red light violation

A Farmington woman was arrested Saturday evening for aggravated driving while intoxicated after deputies responded to a complaint about a possible drunk driver.

Ontario County Sheriff’s deputies arrested Natalie M. Sigler, 59, following a traffic stop on State Route 332 near the Canandaigua-Farmington Townline Road around 7:39 p.m. on May 17.

Deputies intercepted Sigler’s vehicle after observing it fail to stop at a red light at the intersection. Following a roadside investigation, authorities determined that she was operating her vehicle in an intoxicated condition.

Sigler was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, failure to stop at a red light, and possession of an open alcoholic container inside her vehicle. She was transported to the Ontario County Jail and issued uniform traffic tickets. She is scheduled to appear in Farmington Town Court at a later date.
