A man is facing multiple larceny charges after fleeing from a Seneca Falls Walmart without paying for merchandise, police said.

The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department arrested Sedell Hall Jr. on May 14 following a shoplifting report at the store.

Investigators determined Hall had selected items for purchase, passed all points of sale without paying, and fled the scene in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle nearby and apprehended him shortly after.

Police later learned Hall had stolen merchandise from the same Walmart the day before. He was charged with two counts of petit larceny, both class A misdemeanors.

Hall was released on an appearance ticket and is scheduled to return to Seneca Falls Town Court at a later date.
