The Town of Geneva approved a zoning change Tuesday to allow the Rolling Hills development on Carter Road, according to the Finger Lakes Times.
The rezoning shifts the parcel from a Residential Rural District to a Planned Unit Development (PUD), following environmental review and multiple public hearings. The board found no significant environmental impact and will hold another public hearing on June 10.
In other actions, the board backed a harmful algae bloom bill, scheduled a townwide reassessment for 2026, and made key appointments to the assessor and planning board positions.
