South Seneca Ambulance to host Touch-a-Truck and Chicken BBQ event

South Seneca Ambulance is kicking off its first Chicken BBQ of the season with a family-friendly Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday, offering the community a hands-on look at local emergency services in action.

Set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 2011 NY-96A in Ovid, the event is free to attend and promises an exciting lineup of firetrucks, ambulances, and police vehicles for children and families to explore up close.

“Ambulances, Firetrucks and Police — oh my!” the organization posted in its announcement, inviting residents to enjoy the spring weather and support first responders.

Alongside the interactive truck displays, South Seneca Ambulance will be serving up its popular Chicken BBQ. Refreshments and meals will be available for purchase throughout the day.

Local law enforcement and area fire departments will also be on hand to meet with attendees, answer questions, and showcase the equipment they use to keep the community safe.

Whether you’re a BBQ fan, a curious kid, or just looking for a fun way to support emergency services, the event offers something for everyone.
