A Newark woman is facing multiple charges after allegedly altering price tags and stealing merchandise from the Walmart Supercenter in Seneca Falls, according to local police.
Julie Fabino, 62, was arrested on May 12 at 1:25 p.m. by the Seneca Falls Police Department. Officers say she switched price tags to scan a lower amount for more expensive items at checkout.
Further investigation revealed that Fabino had previously been trespassed from all Walmart properties in 2023. As a result, she was charged with third-degree burglary, a Class D felony; first-degree falsifying business records, a Class E felony; and petit larceny, a Class A misdemeanor.
Fabino was processed at the Seneca Falls Police Department and released on an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.
