Wayne County Sheriff’s deputies arrested two Ontario residents after investigating a domestic incident that led to property damage on La Frank Drive.
Nicholas R. Wandtke, 41, and Angelo M. Wandtke, 20, were taken into custody and charged with one count of Criminal Mischief in the Fourth Degree. Authorities allege the two men uprooted and discarded several houseplants during a dispute involving another family member.
Deputies Dep Bickel and Dep Gravino conducted the investigation, which resulted in the arrests on May 7 at 4:00 p.m. Both defendants were arraigned at the Wayne County CAP court the following morning at 7:00 a.m. They are scheduled to reappear in Ontario Town Court at a later date to address the charges.
The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office stated the investigation took place in the Town of Ontario. No further details about the incident were released.
