Families and individuals will have a unique chance to meet rescued animals and learn about their stories when Seneca Meadows Education Center hosts the “Little Critters” program with Bridges for Brain Injury on May 10.
The event, featuring individuals recovering from traumatic brain injuries, will showcase animals that have been injured, rehabilitated, or released, sharing their survival adaptations in a lively educational program.
Scheduled from 1:00 to 2:30 PM at the Seneca Meadows Education Center, located at 1977 NYS Route 414 in Waterloo, the free event invites all ages, individuals, families, groups, and members of under-represented communities to participate. Though admission is free, advance registration is required at https://act.audubon.org/a/little-critters-51025-3.
According to the release, participants will have the opportunity to interact with animals that were once escapees or injured and have since found safety through rehabilitation efforts. Staff from Bridges for Brain Injury will guide the session, offering insights based on their personal journeys and experiences with these creatures.
