City Council members in Canandaigua have begun implementing the 2020 Comprehensive Plan, a refreshed version of the city’s 2013 strategy. A task force met April 29 to prioritize issues and set action areas for 2025-29, aiming to guide short- and long-term city development.
Chaired by Councilor Guy Turchetti, the group reviewed the plan to balance broad vision with clear direction. A survey is being developed to gather input from fellow council members and Mayor Bob Palumbo ahead of the next meeting on May 15.
Ultimately, all proposals from the task force will be presented to the full City Council for discussion and approval as implementation moves forward.
