Wayne-Finger Lakes high school sports: May 6 scoreboard

Palmyra-Macedon and Canandaigua boys lacrosse stayed unbeaten in dominant fashion. Geneva and Midlakes/Red Jacket also delivered explosive scoring efforts, led by Ryland Dunham’s eight goals and Walker Landschoot’s seven points, respectively.

On the softball field, Lyons continued its strong season behind Baylei Reed’s three-hit game and Keira Weber’s 12-strikeout outing.

Baylei Reed led the way for the Lions with a 3-for-4 day at the plate, including a pair of RBI singles that helped spark an early lead. Keira Weber also had a big impact, driving in two runs and striking out 12 over six innings in the circle to earn the win. Jayla Bell doubled in a run as part of a 13-hit effort for Lyons, with multiple players collecting multi-hit games. The Raiders received RBI contributions from five different players.
