An urgent call for community support will echo across the greens of Wells Golf Club on Saturday, June 7, as the Aurora Fire Department hosts a special ambulance fundraiser event.
Partnering with Wells Golf Course, the fire department aims to raise critical funds to support ambulance services. All proceeds will be donated directly to the ambulance fund through a lively day of golf, games, and music.
The centerpiece of the fundraiser is a 3-person scramble tournament, with a $100 entry fee per person. The event kicks off with an 11:00 a.m. shotgun start. Participants will enjoy a full day on the course, with the price covering golf, cart, a boxed lunch, and wine and beer on the course, followed by dinner.
Organizers assure that even those who don’t golf have a reason to join the festivities. “You Don’t Golf, Don’t Worry!” the flyer promises. The day will also feature games, raffles, live music, beverages, and a spread of amazing food.
Sign-ups are open now. Interested participants can register by contacting Wells Golf Course at 315-364-8024 or by texting Frank Zimdahl at 315-224-7602.
