Several individuals were convicted of driving while intoxicated or impaired by drugs across Cayuga County in April, the District Attorney’s office announced this week.
District Attorney Brittany Grome Antonacci released the list of convictions, which includes arrests from multiple towns including Auburn, Port Byron, Weedsport, and Rome.
The following individuals were convicted: Kameron Buchanan of Auburn, Michael Maunder of Auburn, Joshua Tanner of Port Byron, Brook Smith of Auburn, Trevor Greene of Weedsport, and Khaled Ziqibeh of Pennsylvania. Additional convictions include Renee Sinisas of Baldwinsville, Casey Schraft of Romulus, Robin Jones of Rome, and Lucas Ferrin of Port Byron.
An individual convicted of misdemeanor DWI or DWAI Drugs can face up to one year in jail. Convictions also carry mandatory installation of an ignition interlock device, fines between $500 and $10,000, and a minimum six-month license revocation.
