The first six innings featured a scoreless pitchers’ duel before chaos unfolded in the seventh, with the Reds claiming a walk-off victory on an error that brought in two runs, handing the Lions its first loss of the season. Keira Weber delivered a stellar performance for Lyons, striking out 17 in 6.2 innings while allowing six unearned runs and recording her 500th career strikeout. Kamryn Bonnell drove in two runs with a double, Rylee Richardson tripled in a run, and Addison VanLare and Weber each added RBI singles. Newark’s offense was sparked by Martianna Chance and Sophia Delfs, who each knocked in a run.
