Montour Falls hosted its first outdoor “First Fridays on Main” of the year on May 2, welcoming crowds to Main Street for food, crafts, and live music. The event, now in its second year, aims to celebrate and boost local businesses after the long winter.
Organizer Antonella Purpura said the gatherings highlight new shops and local artisans, offering a fresh experience with each event. Businesses along Main Street stayed open late to join the festivities, helping build a stronger community spirit.
The next “First Fridays on Main” will be a summer block party in July, with more events — including a “Witches Ball” in October — planned for the year.
