  • Staff Report

After months of searching, authorities confirmed that Marcus K Turner, a missing vulnerable adult from Ithaca, has been located safe in the Bronx.

The Ithaca Police Department announced on May 1 that Turner had been found and thanked everyone who assisted in the efforts to locate him. Lieutenant Mary V Orsaio issued the update on behalf of the department.

Turner, a 32-year-old Ithaca resident, was first reported missing on March 20. He had last been seen on October 19 in Ithaca. Described as a Black male, 6-foot-4 and approximately 300 pounds, Turner was last seen wearing a camouflage winter coat, black pants, and sneakers.

At the time of the original report, police noted that the circumstances surrounding Turner’s disappearance were unknown and under active investigation. Authorities encouraged anyone with information to contact the department, offering options for anonymous tips through phone or email.

The Ithaca Police Department emphasized its appreciation for the community’s assistance throughout the case.
