Boys lacrosse saw standout performances from Geneva’s Max Heieck, who tallied five goals and three assists in a dominant win over Marcus Whitman, and Palmyra-Macedon’s high-powered offense, which racked up 21 goals to stay unbeaten. Midlakes/Red Jacket also impressed behind Nate Lathrop’s seven-point night and Stuart Quku’s 13 saves. On the girls side, Victor rolled past Hilton with Maia Pronti posting seven points to lead a balanced scoring attack.
In baseball, Chase Osterhout threw a no-hitter for Waterloo, Palmyra-Macedon blanked Wayne, and Sodus improved to 10-0. On the softball diamond, Ashlyn Wright led undefeated Bloomfield with 11 strikeouts in a shutout win. Also, Kamryn Bonnell went 3-for-4 with an RBI and Rylee Richardson recorded her 200th career strikeout to keep Lyons perfect on the season.
