The Walworth Town Board will meet tonight at 6:30 p.m. to consider multiple resolutions related to parks operations, public works, and administrative contracts, according to the official agenda.
Among the items up for a vote is a resolution authorizing the purchase of a new John Deere Gator HPX utility vehicle. The equipment, intended for town use, would be acquired at a cost not to exceed $14,941.82.
The board will also consider approving the hiring and salary for Summer Day Camp staff as seasonal programming preparations continue.
A resolution to renew the town’s 2025 Preventative Maintenance Service Agreement with Van Hook Service Co., Inc. is also on the agenda. The agreement would cover ongoing service needs for both the Town Hall and Ginegaw Lodge.
In another resolution, the board is expected to vote on waiving sewer permit fees for the County of Wayne EMS building at 1870 Walworth-Penfield Road.
Additionally, the board may authorize the execution and delivery of Addendum No. 2 to the Intermunicipal Agreement (IMA), which would become effective June 1.
The meeting agenda also notes several communications for board review, including the year-end budget modification list, the Town of Walworth Annual Financial Report, and February and March sales reports from the Assessment Department. Annual training and safety notices, including sexual harassment prevention and hazmat awareness programs, are also listed, along with a letter from the Gananda Rotary Club.
Tonight’s meeting will open with the approval of minutes from the April 17 meeting, followed by presentations and committee reports.
