An investigation into a reported assault led to the arrest of two juveniles in Seneca Falls after authorities said they conspired to harm another youth.
The Town of Seneca Falls Police Department announced the arrests on April 26, stating that a 15-year-old and a 16-year-old were taken into custody following the incident.
According to police, the two juveniles planned and initiated a physical altercation against another juvenile. Both were charged with one count of conspiracy in the sixth degree, a class B misdemeanor. Additionally, the 15-year-old was charged with one count of assault in the third degree, a class A misdemeanor.
Authorities issued appearance tickets to both juveniles, directing them to report to Seneca County Probation to address the charges. The victim, who sustained minor injuries, was granted an order of protection.
