Ontario County deputies are searching for a Geneva man who fled after crashing into a utility pole early Saturday at State Route 245 and County Road 5, according to police. The crash downed power lines and shut the road for two hours.
Investigators say 29-year-old Roblero Morales was driving a 2013 Chevy Equinox when he veered off the road, breaking the pole and causing electrical wires to fall. NYSEG crews responded to clear the hazard.
Morales fled the scene before authorities arrived, and the incident remains under investigation.
