Seven suspects have been charged with torturing and killing Nordquist before abandoning his body in Yates County. Ryan Tuttle, a fellow transgender man, spoke about the importance of keeping Nordquist’s voice alive beyond the tragedy.

All suspects are currently being held without bail and are expected to appear in court Friday.
