Vineyard View Winery is expanding from its home on Keuka Lake with the opening of a new tasting room and event venue on Seneca Lake. The family-owned business is launching “The Meadows” in partnership with Sweet Farm’s Climate Sanctuary, creating a destination that blends sustainability and winemaking in the Finger Lakes.
The grand opening celebration will take place Saturday, May 25, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 211 Hall Road in Himrod. The free event will feature live music from 12:00 to 3:00 p.m., local food vendors, special wine releases, and guided tours of the sanctuary.
“We’re thrilled to expand our footprint to Seneca Lake. The space represents a shared vision with Sweet Farm to create meaningful experiences, rooted in sustainability, community, and of course great wine,” said Nikki Folts, owner of Vineyard View Winery.
The Meadows will offer year-round tastings, private events, and weddings. The tasting room will also showcase Sweet Farm’s Provisions, a curated collection of goods that support the farm’s climate and animal advocacy efforts.
Vineyard View Winery says this expansion highlights its commitment to environmental stewardship and the continued celebration of the Finger Lakes region’s winemaking tradition.
