Deputies responded to a reported domestic incident in Brutus on April 16, where a Ring doorbell camera was allegedly stolen from a residence. Authorities later identified Joshua A. Giancola, 32, as the suspect in the theft.
Giancola turned himself in to the Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office on April 21, according to Sheriff Brian Schenck. He was processed and charged with petit larceny, a misdemeanor under New York State Penal Law 155.25. Following his arrest, Giancola was brought to the Cayuga County Jail for CAP court arraignment and was released pending a future appearance in the Town of Brutus Court.
