Seneca Falls police seek man for court no-show

  • / Updated:
  • Staff Report

Seneca Falls police are searching for a man who failed to appear in court to face multiple driving-related charges.

Authorities identified the suspect as Reid P. Mcilwain, 37, who is wanted for failing to appear on charges including DWI-first offense, DWI-previous conviction, and several other violations of New York Vehicle and Traffic Law.

The police department issued the alert as part of its “Warrant Wednesday” initiative, which publicly shares the names and photos of individuals with active warrants. Mcilwain is described as being 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Law enforcement officials are urging anyone with information about Mcilwain’s whereabouts to contact the Seneca Falls Police Department at 315-568-4850. Tips can also be submitted anonymously at https://senecafalls.com/gov/dept/police/tip/.

Authorities caution the public not to take action themselves and instead to report any information directly to police.
