A Penn Yan man is facing charges after police say he drove through a red light and was found to be operating with a suspended license.
Thomas G. Godbee, 48, was stopped by Penn Yan Police just before 11 p.m. on April 12 after he was seen running a red signal on Elm Street.
During the traffic stop, officers identified Godbee as the driver and conducted a license check. The results showed his driving privileges were suspended. He was issued tickets for aggravated unlicensed operation in the third degree and passing a red signal.
Godbee was released at the scene and is scheduled to appear in Penn Yan Village Court at a later date.
