Seneca Falls Man Arrested On Multiple Warrants Including Robbery and Child Endangerment

Deputies in Seneca County arrested a local man Wednesday afternoon on a series of outstanding warrants, including robbery and child endangerment charges.

Charles J. Smith, 47, of Seneca Falls, was taken into custody around 3:47 p.m. on April 16 after deputies executed an arrest warrant for petit larceny and multiple bench warrants stemming from prior charges.


According to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office, the bench warrants included charges of robbery in the third degree, two counts of grand larceny in the fourth degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and another count of petit larceny. No further details were released regarding the incidents leading to those charges.

Smith was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he is being held pending arraignment.
