A Penn Yan resident was arrested this week following an investigation into an alleged violation of an order of protection, the Yates County Sheriff’s Office announced.
Ryan G. Thomas, of 112 Chestnut Street, was taken into custody on April 15 at 4:45 p.m. at 227 Main Street in Penn Yan. He is charged with aggravated family offense.
Deputies say Thomas had contact with a protected party in the Town of Milo, prompting the investigation. He was transported to the Yates County Jail and held for CAP arraignment.
