A Romulus man is facing felony charges after allegedly using his vehicle to intentionally damage another person’s car, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff Tim Thompson said deputies arrested 77-year-old James Hinman on April 3 around 6:00 a.m. in connection with an incident that resulted in several thousand dollars’ worth of damage. Hinman was charged with second-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and reckless endangerment.

Investigators allege that Hinman deliberately struck the victim’s vehicle with his own. He has been ordered to reappear in the Town of Romulus Court at a later date to answer the charges.
