Paintball gun incident leads to arrest in Arcadia

Deputies in Wayne County arrested a Lyons man early Saturday morning after responding to a disturbance involving a paintball gun in the Town of Arcadia.

Dominic Card, 18, of Culver Street, faces a charge of criminal tampering in the third degree after allegedly firing a paintball gun at a home and a vehicle. According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, the incident left both the residence and the vehicle covered in paint.

Deputy T. Kugler, the investigating officer, processed Card at the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office. He was later released with appearance tickets. Authorities say Card is scheduled to appear in Arcadia Town Court to answer the charge.

The incident occurred around 1:30 a.m., according to the official report.
