A burglary investigation that began last month at a Waterloo business has led to the arrest of an Auburn man.
Police charged Travis J. Ryan, 35, with third-degree burglary and criminal mischief after taking him into custody on the morning of March 31. The arrest stems from a break-in that occurred during the overnight hours of March 14.
Authorities say Ryan was wanted on an arrest warrant and was located and apprehended with the help of the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office and New York State Police. Following his arrest, officers transported him to the Seneca County Correctional Facility, where he will remain until his arraignment through the Centralized Arraignment Process.
The Waterloo Police Department did not disclose specific details about the break-in, including what was damaged or whether any items were stolen. The business involved has not been named publicly.
