The Walworth Town Board is seeking applicants to fill a vacant board seat now open through the end of the year.
According to an official notice, the board is inviting residents to apply for the position, which will remain in effect until December 31. Resumes must be submitted to the Walworth Town Clerk at 3600 Lorraine Drive by April 18.
The announcement signals the board’s intent to maintain strong leadership and representation for the community during the remainder of the term. Walworth Town Supervisor Mike Donalty resigned in March, which resulted in Rick Johnson being appointed town supervisor until the conclusion of that term later this year. That appointment, since Johnson previously served on the town board, meant a new vacancy was created.
Interested candidates can find more information by visiting the town’s website at www.townofwalworthny.gov or by calling (315) 986-1400.
