Deputies arrest driver for DWI after early-morning stop in Tyre

A traffic stop in the early hours of Friday led to a DWI arrest in the Town of Tyre, according to the Seneca County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies arrested Maxwell Balogh, 21, of Auburn, around 2:17 a.m. on March 28 during an official police investigation. Authorities say Balogh was stopped by law enforcement and found to be driving while intoxicated.

Following the arrest, Balogh was released on an appearance ticket. He is scheduled to appear in Tyre Town Court on April 22 to respond to the charges.
