  • Staff Report

A Seneca Falls man was arrested Wednesday after a domestic incident involving thrown objects led to felony charges.

Brandon L. Ferris, 32, was taken into custody by the Town of Seneca Falls Police Department and charged with aggravated family offense, a class E felony, and criminal tampering in the third degree, a class B misdemeanor.

The arrest followed a report of a domestic altercation in which Ferris allegedly threw trash and a trash can at the victim. Police did not report any injuries but said the incident was serious enough to warrant felony-level charges.

Ferris was processed at the police department and transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility to await arraignment.

According to police reports, Ferris was arrested in 2024 during an incident where he threatened to slit a person’s throat.

Authorities also requested an order of protection on behalf of the victim.
