A missing person case in Cayuga County has been resolved after Thomas Ivery was located and confirmed safe. The Cayuga County Sheriff’s Office announced that Ivery, who had been reported missing, recently visited his biological mother in Syracuse before leaving New York.
According to the sheriff’s office, Ivery informed his mother that he no longer wished to stay in the state and has since returned to Ohio. Authorities also confirmed that his black lab dog remains in his care.
Despite being found safe, Ivery is still wanted on a violation of probation in Cayuga County.
