Deputies arrested a Wolcott man Saturday evening following a domestic disturbance in the Village of Wolcott.
Cory L. Chase, 35, faces charges of Harassment in the Second Degree and Grand Larceny in the Fourth Degree. The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office said the arrest followed an investigation into a report that Chase threatened to kill another person during a dispute and then fled the scene.
Deputies allege Chase took the victim’s debit card from inside the home. While investigators were at the scene, Chase returned and was found with the stolen card in his possession. Authorities took him into custody without incident.
Chase was processed at the Sheriff’s Office and taken to Wayne County Jail. He is scheduled for centralized arraignment on March 23 at 7 a.m. He will appear in Village of Wolcott Court at a later date to answer the charges.
