Roisen elected Ovid mayor; Favreau, Wood win trustee seats

Ovid’s appointed mayor Aaron Roisen won a full four-year term in this week’s village election, defeating Ron Carmona 55-19.

Kenneth Favreau and incumbent David Wood secured four-year trustee seats with 54 and 37 votes, respectively. Write-in candidate Rick Griswold finished third with 15 votes.

James Rapalee, another write-in candidate, received seven votes and will serve the remaining two years of Roisen’s original trustee term.
