A Penn Yan woman was arrested Thursday morning following a domestic incident that led to multiple charges, including endangering the welfare of a child.
Police took Angelina C. Vogt-Anthony, 38, into custody after responding to a complaint and interviewing witnesses. According to authorities, Vogt-Anthony engaged in unwanted physical contact with another village resident in the presence of a child.
When officers attempted to arrest her, Vogt-Anthony allegedly resisted and refused to cooperate. She was charged with endangering the welfare of a child, resisting arrest, obstructing governmental administration in the second degree, disorderly conduct, and harassment in the second degree.
Vogt-Anthony was transported to the Yates County Jail, where she awaits centralized arraignment.
