  • Staff Report

Former Waterloo Police Chief Jason Godley and incumbent John Butlak won seats on the Waterloo village board in Tuesday’s election. Godley led with 180 votes, while Butlak secured 161, earning his fourth term.

Jamie Rodger, running on the Conservative and Village First lines, received 120 votes, and write-in candidate Steve Roshia Jr. earned 14. Both winners will serve three-year terms.

The election results reflect continued support for experienced leadership while welcoming new representation to the board.
