Authorities in Cayuga County arrested a woman early Tuesday after she was found intoxicated following a single-car crash in the Town of Throop.
Sheriff Brian Schenck reported that deputies responded to McDonald Road at approximately 2:53 a.m. on March 18, where they discovered a vehicle had crashed with a single occupant inside. The driver, identified as Bailee L. Jarabek, was treated at the scene by emergency medical personnel.
During the investigation, deputies determined that Jarabek was intoxicated. She was charged with driving while intoxicated, driving with a blood alcohol content of .08 or higher, and moving from a lane unsafely. Authorities said she provided a breath sample of .12.
Jarabek was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled to appear in Throop Town Court on March 25 at 6 p.m.
