A line of thunderstorms associated with a cold front moved through the Finger Lakes and Central New York during the afternoon hours on Sunday, downing trees, damaging structures, and causing flash flooding.
Fallen trees took down utility wires, briefly disrupting traffic on John Street in Auburn. A Citgo gas station on Owasco Street sustained damage, and reports of storm-related damage came from across the county.
There was even a brief tornado-warned cell, however, no tornado-related damage was reported.
Crews worked overnight to restore power and clear debris.
