Planning board reviews Timber View Estates, site plan modifications in Victor

The Victor Planning Board met on March 11 to review multiple development proposals, including a major residential subdivision and modifications to existing commercial properties. While no final decisions were made, several projects moved forward in the approval process.

Timber View Estates Faces Environmental Review

The board discussed Timber View Estates, a 24-lot single-family home development proposed for Cline Road (not Klein Road, as previously stated). The development, led by Polidori and Ferry Custom Homes, includes 20 lots on a town-dedicated road and four additional lots on a private drive.

Officials raised concerns about steep slopes, wetlands, and potential stormwater runoff issues. The board initiated the State Environmental Quality Review Act (SEQRA) process, signaling that a more in-depth environmental impact assessment will be required before the project moves forward.

Site Plan Modifications Approved

The board also approved:

  • Elliott Pole Barn (6415 Bortle Road) – A 60-by-40-foot barn on a 4.27-acre property.
  • Four Winds Chimney (770 Canning Parkway) – A site plan modification and special use permit for the installation of overhead doors and additional pavement to accommodate business operations.
  • Jones Pole Barn (1075 Strong Road) – A 32-by-36-foot barn with a covered exterior pad.

The Planning Board will hold its next meeting on March 25, where additional projects will be reviewed.
