A traffic complaint in the Town of Ovid led to the arrest of a local woman on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated, according to Seneca County Sheriff Tim Thompson.
Sheriff’s deputies took Jamie O. Dimichele, 44, of Ovid, into custody on March 15 after locating her vehicle and conducting an investigation. Authorities determined her blood alcohol content was .18% or higher, more than twice the legal limit.
Dimichele was transported to the Seneca County Correctional Facility for processing and was issued an appearance ticket. She is scheduled to appear in the Town of Ovid Court at a later date to answer the charges.
